We are known as mortgage specialists and our clients tell us we very good at what we do.

Since we launched we’ve focused heavily on mortgages, working hard to meet deadlines and holding our client’s hands until the mortgage has completed.

That means we’ve sometimes neglected to tell you about the other areas we advise on, for that we apologise.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Over the next few months you will see some changes at London Money.

We won’t move away from our core specialism of mortgages. We’re still here, waiting for you to decide to buy your first home, move house, or for your existing mortgage deal to come to an end.

But it is important for you to know we are here to help advise, guide and nurture your other financial needs.

So, we’ll be writing and blogging about a wider range of financial news that we know will affect you. We’ll publish these on our website www.london-money.co.uk and send the articles to clients in an informative monthly newsletter.

Don’t worry, we’ll only send it once a month. If you don’t like it, or feel there are other things we should be writing about, please tell us.

If you really don’t like it, there is of course the ‘unsubscribe’ button for you to use.

What can we advise on?

That brings me to another subject, explaining what we do, other than mortgages of course.

Traditionally this is where financial advisers list the things they advise on: Pensions, ISAs, Investments, Life Cover, Critical Illness Cover (nodded off yet?) Income Protection, Inheritance Tax Planning. You get the picture!

Sure, we can recommend all those financial products, and more.

But, that’s all they are, products, which on their own, without a strategy, are pretty useless. We prefer to think of ourselves as problem solvers, who will help you achieve your financial goals and objectives. For example:

  • When do you want to retire?
  • How do you want to help your children out?
  • How will you pay the bills of your household income falls due to illness or death?

We can help with all these things, and more.

We already know each other too, so no first date nerves, which makes life so much easier.

So, the next time you want to review your existing arrangements please remember we are here to help you. Giving you the same care and attention we gave to your mortgage by maintaining our core value of always endeavouring to give simple, smart advice.
